Editorial Policy

We don't accept money for placement. PitBikeHQ currently has no affiliate relationships; if that changes, commercial links will never determine a ranking.

Every price and spec is snapshotted with a date and is approximate — we update on a schedule, not on request.

If a product doesn't earn its spot, it doesn't make the list, full stop.

Editorial responsibility

Jacke Gu is the founder and research editor responsible for all current PitBikeHQ articles. There are no additional PitBikeHQ editors or reviewers.

The editorial process checks source attribution, seller-versus-manufacturer wording, conflicting specifications, evidence gaps, publication dates, internal links, and visible evidence-check dates. Safety and legal pages identify their jurisdiction limits and direct readers to the responsible authorities.

PitBikeHQ does not claim mechanical inspection, professional riding evaluation, legal review, or hands-on product testing unless a page explicitly identifies the qualified contributor or documents the work performed.

Source priority

For specifications and service procedures, we prefer manufacturer product pages, manuals, and service documents. For safety and legal claims, we prefer government agencies and recognized rider-safety organizations. For racing rules, we prefer the responsible sanctioning or event organization.

Retailer and marketplace pages may document a current listing, price, or seller claim when an original source is unavailable. They are not treated as independent confirmation, and the article must say what remains unverified.

Dates and corrections

The published date records the page's first publication. The updated date and evidence-check label change only after a material editorial or source review. Corrections can be reported at hello@pitbikehq.com.
